Each of us will die; of that there can be no doubt. Of far greater consequence is the fact that each and every one of us will, of necessity, be called upon to stand helplessly as one we love dies. As a publisher, I am privileged to read many fine manuscripts. Unfortunately, as a result of economic realities, few are ever brought to print. To fully plumb these depths would require a lifetime. It is a book that must be read and reread; a book that will never succumb to obsolescence; a book that will never fail to comfort and console all who grieve.
Not unlike natural childbirth, A Love Eternal was conceived in love while born of pain. It is a book that was three years in the writing, but a lifetime in the making. I could never, with mere words, capture the indescribable sorrow and overwhelming grief associated with the death of and separation from one deeply loved, yet this book endeavors, with the help of Almighty God, to see, by faith, the hope and promise of a grand reunion. All that is required to obtain that which you seek, peace and understanding, is a broken heart, tear-filled eyes, an open mind, and, most importantly, the faith of a child. Ever remember that love is born of a God whose very essence is love, and that nothing born of God shall ever die.
